OmniLeague Adopts Unified Board and New Rules for 2026

07 October 2026
OmniLeague, the multi-sport fantasy platform, announced today that it will unify the draft across all 16 sports for the 2026 season. Along with this change, the league is introducing inter-sport trade windows and adjusted betting limits. These updates follow a successful season in which managers drafted 18,000 teams.
In another update, OmniLeague is adding new midseason inter-sport trade windows. The first window opens after the NFL trade deadline in mid-October, with subsequent windows in mid-January and mid-March. Managers will now be able to trade entire franchises from different sports, rather than individual players.
Adjusted limits are coming to bet-related activities. Along with the now-required inter-sport trades, OmniLeague is setting new maximums on select wagers and props, particularly those with a middling 60-80% implied probability.
The unique feature of OmniLeague is that it is a draft-only, multi-sport leaderboard. Unlike traditional fantasy where you draft individual players, here the teams themselves are drafted. Our managers pursue a balanced roster of franchises, each with different odds of success.
In OmniLeague's core multi-sport draft, managers construct rosters from a board that includes teams from MLB, NBA, NFL, and the Premier League, along with five college sports, tennis, and other soccer leagues.
Draft Mechanics
Drafting in OmniLeague proceeds with managers making picks one after the other, in snake order. Before the draft, each manager chooses a pick interval: the draft clock either advances that interval every pick, or rests at fixed hours of the day.
Following a full 25-round snake draft, each OmniLeague team will have a maximum of 18 teams and giving managers flexibility in roster construction. Only the basic exchange of franchises between managers is allowed—no trades for or between individual stars.
Market Protection
As OmniLeague uses real money wagers and props on sides and spreads, defending against market manipulation is a priority. OmniLeague tracks market information directly from sportsbooks and prediction sites. By using verified line information, the league maintains accuracy without influencing realignment.
The ranks are calculated by applying the performance of each event across all game outcomes to the market value of each franchise. The result is a number shown as the team's ROI.
OmniLeague Points Guide
League finish of franchise = Total points of league × ROI to Market
League Win/Loss = 70% of Total League Points × ROI to Market
League Performance vs. Spread = 50% of Total League Points × ROI to Market
The points represent real money value, though abstracted within the fantasy system. Markets are accessible for a fee, with basic participation remaining free:
Draft entry = Optional $25 Buy-in
Buy-in enters you into prize pools: 1st place $75, 2nd place $25, and 3rd place $15. 10% of all buy-ins fund the seasonal leaderboard.
Placement Bets = Optional $25 per main sport
Wagers on team placements across all 16 leagues. Buying prop limits only applies to that specific market.
Fantasy Fusion and Superdraft are OmniLeague competitors that use similar multi-sport drafting. However, Fantasy Fusion awards points for each team in your portfolio, while Superdraft focuses primarily on the four major U.S. pro leagues.
