General sports news, updated as it lands. Fantasy-relevant transactions, injuries and schedule changes alongside the wider stories from football, baseball and basketball.

The filter is narrow on purpose. An item belongs here if it changes what a manager would do this week — a trade, a suspension, a starting pitcher moved, a rotation or depth chart redrawn, a schedule shifted — or if it is a story from the three leagues this site already covers. Transfer rumours with no named source, and opinion pieces about which player is more likeable, are not filed.

Because this site follows three sports at once, the calendar never closes: football weeks overlap with the baseball run-in, and the basketball season runs through both. The split of what gets filed follows roughly the same shape as the league’s own board, where 350 of 700 picks were baseball, 182 football and 154 basketball — baseball generates the most day-to-day transactions simply because it has the most players on a roster.

Older items stay at their own addresses and are not quietly rewritten: if something published here turns out to be wrong, the correction goes on the page itself and says what changed. Figures follow the same rule as the rest of the site — a number appears only with a source behind it, and a table with a hole in it is published with the hole. Corrections and tips: [email protected].
